Siok Sian Pek-Dorji

Siok Sian Pek-Dorji is the founding Executive Director of Bhutan Centre for Media and Democracy and is cur- rently an Advisor to the organization. She has facilitated and developed curricula for numerous trainings on civic education and news/media literacy. As a journalist, she has authored articles highlighting urgent social issues, and has contributed to newspapers, magazines. Pek-Dorji has edited several publications and produced broadcast documentaries on Bhutan. Her professionalism and dedication to creating an informed and active citizenry in Bhutan truly inspires women to take a stand in voicing out what matters. She was also a former co-Director of Mountain Echoes Literary festival.
