Arun Bhattarai

Arun Bhattarai is an award-winning documentary filmmaker from Bhutan, known for Agent of Happiness, The Next Guardian, and Mountain Man. His latest film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and has since screened at over 100 festivals, including IDFA and DOC NYC, and was nominated for the IDA Awards. His work has been released in over 30 countries and supported by the Sundance Institute, Tribeca Film Institute, and IDFA Bertha Fund. Arun also mentors young filmmakers across South Asia and has served as a jury member at international festivals like Sydney. He is a National Film Award recipient and a leading voice in Bhutanese cinema.
