Avinuo Kire is a writer from Nagaland, India. Her fiction explores themes of identity, history, folklore, gender, and relationships. She has authored five books, including short stories, poetry, oral narratives, and a novel. Kire’s work has also appeared in various literary journals, anthologies, and leading publications such as Caravan, The Hindu, and India Today, among others. She currently divides her time between Nagaland and Thimphu while working on her next book.
