Cheyenne Olivier is a French illustrator whose playfully geometric work explores social and environmental themes. She holds an MFA in Illustration from the Decorative Arts School in Strasbourg and studied at the Estienne Arts and Design School in Paris. Cheyenne illustrated the Poor Economics for Kids series with Nobel laureate Esther Duflo, and two cookbooks—Cooking to Save Your Life and Chhaunk—with Abhijit Banerjee. She and Banerjee also co-author a monthly food and economics column in The Times of India. A recipient of the Young Talent Award at the Angoulême Comics Festival, she is currently pursuing a PhD in children’s literature at the University of Tours.
