Kuenga Lhendup is Executive Director of the Wangduechhoeling Museum and Cultural Centre in Bumthang, Bhutan. He holds a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Sydney, an MBA, and a Master of Marketing Management from the University of Canberra. Previously, he worked nearly 15 years with the Royal Textile Academy of Bhutan. Deeply committed to preserving Bhutan’s cultural and linguistic heritage, Kuenga leads projects documenting traditional knowledge and endangered languages. His work bridges research and cultural preservation, aiming to inspire future generations to value and sustain Bhutan’s unique heritage amid globalization.
