Kunzang Wangdi, born in 1952 in Bumthang, Bhutan, is a distinguished civil servant with over 48 years of experience, including roles as Director of the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Royal Institute of Management. Educated at St. Stephen’s College and Pennsylvania State University, he contributed significantly to Bhutan’s modernization, civil service reform, and democratic transition. An accomplished author, his works document Bhutan’s development and electoral system. Honored with the Druk Thuksey Medal and Bura Marp, Kunzang cherishes his invitation to Drukyul’s Literature and Arts Festival 2025, celebrating Bhutan’s rich cultural heritage under royal patronage.
