Lhanzey Palden, founder and creative director of Mapcha, is rooted in Tibetan and Ladakhi heritage. Born in Leh and trained in interior design and cultural aesthetics, she launched Mapcha to reconnect with her identity and reinterpret Himalayan crafts through a modern design lens. Based in Majnu Ka Tila, New Delhi’s Tibetan enclave, Mapcha offers thoughtfully crafted clothing, jewelry, and home decor that blend traditional forms with minimalist style.
