Linda Leaming is an author and columnist whose work has appeared in The Guardian, Huffington Post, and Mandala Magazine. She writes the bi-monthly column “Buddha in a Teacup” for Buddhist Door Global. Her bestselling books, Married to Bhutan and A Field Guide to Happiness, have been translated into multiple languages. Linda contributed text to Vanishing Faces of Bhutan (2016). Originally from Nashville, she holds an MFA in fiction from the University of Arizona, has taught at Vanderbilt and Arizona universities, and worked with the UN and Bhutanese institutions. She lives in Thimphu with her husband, Bhutanese artist Phurba Namgay.
