Marie-Jeanne Urech is a French-speaking author and filmmaker from Lausanne, Switzerland. She studied Social Sciences at the University of Lausanne and holds a diploma from the London Film School. Since 2003, she has published 13 novels and short story collections, including a recent triptych addressing today’s global upheavals. Awarded the Prix Eugène Rambert in 2013 for Les Valets de Nuit, her work has featured at international festivals and book fairs. Her writings have been translated into Italian, Romanian, English, and German.
