Lopen Rinchen Yoezer believes that one way to conserve our culture and provide guidance to the youth of Bhutan is through research and writing. Based on this belief and his interest to serve the Tsa Wa Sum, Lopen has translated or researched and written many books on Bhutanese history, including a History of the Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel and Lhoyi Chojung, an early book on the history of Bhutan written by the 10th Je Khenpo.
He has previously worked at the Gyalpoi Zimpoen’s office and the Lodroe Tshogde as well as the Gyalsung office. Lopen is currently translating a book on Thangthong Gyalpo.
