Vandana Bhandari

During the journey of over thirty five years as an academician Dr. Bhandari has worked as an educator, author, administrator with an active social engagement in the fashion and textile sector. She currently serves on the Board of Delhi Craft Council; Sadhna- A women’s handicraft enterprise; Director of Awards and Scholarships on the Board of Textile Society of America; and Advisor on Board of School of Design,UPES, Dehradun. Also Co-Editor for Bloomsbury Encyclopedia of World Textiles -Embellishment Volume. Published in journals and magazines Dr. Bhandari has authored and compiled books on Fashion and Textiles and coordinated national level craft projects like ‘USTTAD’, Languishing Crafts.
