Yeshey Choden is a passionate STEM educator, space science advocate, and social entrepreneur dedicated to making STEM accessible and engaging for Bhutanese youth. She founded Women in STEM Bhutan, Bhutan Astronomical Society, Thimphu Robotics Club, The Play Fund, and Nyingtob Initiative, driving innovation and curiosity beyond traditional boundaries. With a background in space science at GovTech Agency, she leads astronomy outreach, trains amateur astronomers, and promotes astro-tourism in Bhutan’s highlands. Yeshey also organizes immersive programs like Raywa STEM Camp. Committed to inclusivity, she envisions holistic, experiential STEM education deeply integrated into everyday life in Bhutan.
