DLAF 2024 Volunteer Overview

We are looking for courteous, committed, and responsible individuals who are keen to interact with new people and play a key role in ensuring the festival operates smoothly. DLAF volunteers are crucial to the festival’s success as they will take on the roles of festival support, ambassadors and be a welcoming face that anyone can approach for queries and help

General Requirements

  • Applicants must be Bhutanese or based in Bhutan
  • Aged 18 and above  
  • Comfortable with interacting with the general public
  • Able to handle some physical work

All selected volunteers are required to attend compulsory briefings to learn more about the festival and their roles.

Volunteers will provide support in a number of areas:

  • Guest Support
  • Speakers Support
  • Food and Catering
  • Event Setup & Clean Up
  • Technical Support 
  • Stage Support
  • Facilitating
  • Administration
  • Communication
  • Marketing
  • Photography
  • Videography

Meals will be provided should shifts cross mealtimes. Each DLAF 2024 volunteer will receive an E-Certificate of Participation.
